After initially obtaining a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in 1988, I returned to University in Southampton, England and obtained an LLB in 1996. Then obtained the LPC professional qualification in
1997 at the College of Law in Guildford, Surrey, and an LLM back at the University of Southampton again in 1998. I returned to Bermuda in 1999 joining CD&P in September of that year as a pupil and have remained with the firm ever since.
I have a varied practice with about 1/3 matrimonial work. I find that area to be rewarding and anything that can be done to reduce the potential for animousity between divorcing parties particularly where children are involved can only be a good influence. Therefore I look forward to being a part of the developing area in the collaborative approach to divorce along with my colleagues who share this view.
